March 7, 2010 – First McCloskey

From Matt McCloskey, Belfast.
Below is reference to the first McCloskey in the annals of ulster in 1196. “Donnchadh son of Bloscadh ua cathain”. Hence new name Mac Bloscadh, anglicised to McCloskey over time. We all descend from a king killer! Personally I like that!
